What health plans are available?

Rx relief offers Aetna MedSure Health Plan, a comprehensive medical plan that meet the Affordable Care Act coverage requirements.

Can I enroll whenever I want to?

No, you must enroll within 60 days of your first day of work. However, the enrollment site will not be available to you until approximately one week after you receive your first paycheck. Your insurance will be effective first of the month following a 60 day waiting period. You may also enroll during Open Enrollment periods or when you have a Qualifying Life Event.

How do I enroll in a Rx relief Benefit Plan?

After you have received your first paycheck, you can enroll in one of two ways: 1) By calling the Customer Support Service at 866-770-6399 or 2) Go to www.powerofready.com/pridestaff

What is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment is a period when an employee can enroll in health plans or make changes to his/her insurance coverage with no restrictions. Open enrollment is held in the last quarter of each year.

What is a Qualifying Life Event?

A Qualifying Life Event is defined as a change in your status due to one of the following: 1) marriage or divorce, 2) birth or adoption of a child or children, 3) loss of insurance coverage involuntarily, 4) death of an immediate family member, 5) Medicare entitlement, 6) employer bankruptcy, 7) loss of dependent status, or 8) loss of prior coverage.

Do I need to provide documentation of a Qualifying Life Event?

Yes, proof must be provided within 30 days of the event.

If I go off assignment do I lose my health coverage?

Not necessarily. You will be offered COBRA.

What is COBRA coverage?

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) allows Field Associates who lose their health benefits the right to continue their coverage that would otherwise be terminated upon job loss.

Is COBRA Health coverage more expensive?

If you had been qualified for an employer contribution, once enrolled through COBRA, there would no longer be an employer contribution and you would be responsible for the total premium. Additionally, there is approximately a 2% administrative fee added to the premium.

How long can I be on COBRA?

Depending on the state you live in and your circumstances, COBRA may extend from 18 to 36 months.

What is the purpose of the "New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage" notice?

As a result of the new health care reform law, this notice provides you with information on how you can purchase health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Go to healthcare.gov to examine your health insurance options available outside of Rx relief.
