Job Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients related to their prescriptions, such as refill requests, shipment status, billing issues, demographic updates, payment & invoice questions and other general questions.
  • Manages difficult or emotional patient situations; Responds promptly to patient needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.
  • Make recommendations or suggestions to appropriate leadership team to enhance and improve workflow processes, training programs, and quality initiatives that enhance the patient experience.
  • Display excellent communication skills.
  • Adhere to pharmacy established procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Specific Pharmacy Technician requirements:

  • Area: Ability to work in the Detroit Metro, MI area
  • Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open and active Michigan Pharmacy Technician license. Accepting Pharmacy Technician in Training and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technicians licenses
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Years of experience: 1+ year(s) of recent pharmacy experience within a mail order, call center, PBM or retail setting. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Schedule: Full Time - Monday - Friday, possible Saturdays. Shifts vary between 8:00am-8:00pm.
  • Length of Assignment: Temporary to Permanent
  • Pay: $15.00 per hour  
  • Background/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check and drug screen
