Pharmacist with Multiple Licenses
Rx relief is among the nation’s leading specialty pharmacist placement firms and we are seeking a current and in good standing California licensed Pharmacist with a current and in good standing dual license in Virginia and Nebraska to fill this role in a flexible schedule within a specialty pharmacy.
As a California Pharmacist with a Virginia and Nebraska State License, you will receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate in a specialty pharmacy setting.
Additional responsibilities of the Pharmacist include:
Establishing or maintaining patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients
Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs
Answering telephones, responding to questions or requests
Prepacking bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and typing and affixing labels
Mixing pharmaceutical preparations, according to written prescriptions
Cleaning and helping to maintain equipment or work areas according to prescribed methods
As a California Pharmacist with Dual Licenses you must have proven experience within a specialty pharmacy.
Additional requirements of the Dual Licensed Pharmacist include:
Experience: 1 year of recent specialty pharmacy experience
Licensure requirements: Must have open, clean and active California Pharmacist license. In addition to the California Pharmacist license you must have an open, clean and active Pharmacist license in Virginia and Nebraska
Assignment Length: Must be flexible as may end or extend depending on client need
Schedule: Part-time, 4 to 6 days per month
Background/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, client health screening criteria and drug screen
