Rx relief® Receives Joint Commission Certification for Eighth Consecutive Year

Posted on 10-11-2018

Joint Commission SealRx relief, a division of PrideStaff, is pleased to announce that their pharmacy recruiting and placement firm has been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval® for health care staffing services certification from The Joint Commission. This is the eighth straight year Rx relief has held this distinction.

As part of the biannual re-certification process, Rx relief underwent an on-site review of performance, placement, continuing education, training, and other criteria to ensure compliance with national standards. Maintaining certification assures healthcare organizations that Rx relief is committed to providing and continuously improving the quality of its services.

"Receiving The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® eight years running proves that Rx relief complies with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care," said George Rogers, Founder and CEO of PrideStaff. "Healthcare organizations trust Rx relief to refer qualified, competent pharmacy professionals. Maintaining certification assures clients that we've done our due diligence on every candidate we place."

"I'd like to congratulate and thank every member of the Rx relief team for sustaining this level of excellence," said Tom Maez, Pharm.D., Divisional Vice President, Rx relief. "Maintaining our certification for a eight years is a reflection of our hard work and unrelenting focus on compliance.

"In allied healthcare staffing, there is no room for failure," continued Maez. "The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® sends a clear message to our clients that we make compliance as high a priority as they do."

This latest honor comes on the heels of several other marks of distinction for the leading pharmacy recruiting and placement firm. Earlier this year, Carl Franklin, R. PH. and Senior Advisor, Emeritus, was inducted to the California Pharmacists Association Pharmacy Hall of Fame. Rx relief also earned Inavero's coveted Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Diamond Awards in 2018, after winning the Best of Staffing Client and Talent Awards at least five years in a row for providing superior service to their clients and job seekers. Rx relief is the only staffing firm dedicated to pharmacy staffing in the U.S. and Canada to win these awards four years in a row.
