Pharmacists are on their feet most of the day, and this can cause foot, knee and back pain, even conditions like varicose veins and joint compression. So, finding shoes that are comfortable and supportive is a must. Here are some different types to consider.

Sneakers/Running Shoes

These certainly can offer the support and comfort you need, as well as durability. The only problem might be how they look. Some employers may feel they are unprofessional. If appearance is a concern, wearing sneakers that are solid black or white can provide a more professional-looking appearance.

Clogs

Many pharmacists like to wear clogs. They provide a more professional appearance but still give a lot of support. Popular brands include Dansko and Birkenstock.

Dress Shoes
