Top Job: Hospital Pharmacist Needed in Fresno, CA
If you are a pharmacist and are looking to travel, there is an immediate opening for a hospital pharmacist in the Fresno Area of Californiaā€™s Central Valley, working on per diem basis. The position pays between $55 and $65 an hour.
The job requires evaluating and filling medication orders for hospitalized patients, providing drug information to the healthcare team, drug distribution to various nursing units, stocking emergency meds, medication order entry, experience in intravenous medication compounding, in addition to verifying that drug order is appropriate and accurate.
The duties of the job also include patient assessments, unit inspections, and transitional care on discharge. You will also be responsible for supporting, as well as being an integral part of the healthcare team.
Qualifications/Requirements

Valid pharmacist license in good standing with the board of pharmacy, desire to meet additional screening requirements as requested by employer, recent clinical experience in an inpatient setting, good communication skills, ability to work in team environment, leadership skills, customer service oriented, computer literate, and ability to be self-motivated and to be able to work independently.
