This position is perfect for a pharmacist who would enjoy ongoing, as-needed per diem work in a retail pharmacy setting.

You should have at least one year of recent retail pharmacy experience. You also will need a National Provider Identifier (NPI#).

You must be available for at least three (3) days a week between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong sense of customer service and the willingness to interact directly with customers.

Your primary focus as a per diem pharmacist will be to meet customer needs by assisting customers/patients (as needed) as well as ensuring accurate and appropriate prescription and product verification.

You also will prepare, label and dispense medications to customers, all the while ensuring compliance with federal and Oklahoma state regulations as it pertains to dispensing pharmaceuticals.

You’ll communicate and interact with other healthcare providers as needed regarding a customer’s/patient’s drug therapy.

You also will supervise technical support personnel who assist you and other pharmacists in the process of filing prescriptions.
